Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Evangelista to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Campodónico's Rodrigo Txeru threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Elodio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Campodónico's Jimeno Quexal got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Campodónico's Manuel Elodio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodrigo Txeru. Rodrigo Txeru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Campodónico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
