Silvestre Echaurren charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Echaurren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Palpaico FC's Silvestre Echaurren got a free kick in the 19th minute. Nino Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viviano Paillemil having to interfere. When Silvestre Echaurren, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 26 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Viviano Paillemil was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to La Presión getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eber Matte hit a great ball. When Silvestre Echaurren came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Palpaico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Echaurren couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Palpaico FC booed when La Presión was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Valdelomar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viviano Paillemil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Socho, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Benicio Socho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Theobald Piedra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benicio Socho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Benicio Socho got in the 45th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Viviano Paillemil handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Palpaico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Jungejohan to maneuver through the defense. After the first half La Presión were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nino Vega struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Viviano Paillemil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palpaico FC. After 52 minutes of play, Palpaico FC's Nino Vega made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viviano Paillemil was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Arrechea notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of La Presión's Viviano Paillemil. Viviano Paillemil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute Silvestre Echaurren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viviano Paillemil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, La Presión's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Vega came free, but Viviano Paillemil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Palpaico FC's Benicio Socho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viviano Paillemil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Yeray Albuerne kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Viviano Paillemil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Echaurren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Echaurren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viviano Paillemil was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. La Presión's Viviano Paillemil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Socho in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palpaico FC fully deserved thier win.
