The referee ignored Combarbala's protests and gave Alfonso Rojas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Combarbala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Rojas to maneuver through the defense. Próspero Macera might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Passet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Próspero Macera ran back to his position shaking his head. Combarbala's Oscar Passet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Combarbala from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Palpaico FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Modesto Banderas hit a great ball. Arturo Borubar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Modig, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute Theobald Piedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Passet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenaido Schmauk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palpaico FC's Arturo Borubar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Modig in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Andreas Modig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Borubar. Palpaico FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Modig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 38 played minutes Palpaico FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Banderas. Combarbala's Andreas Modig got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quim Sáenz in the 40th minute of play forced Palpaico FC's goalkeeper Arturo Borubar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manu García was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manu García in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Borubar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arturo Borubar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manu García in the 54th minute of the match. Oscar Passet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Socho in the 61st minute of play. Manu García fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Borubar having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Palpaico FC got a freekick which was hit by Nino Vega. Oscar Passet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theobald Piedra, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Zenaido Schmauk hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Combarbala's Andreas Modig got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Benicio Socho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palpaico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Socho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Passet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Palpaico FC's Modesto Banderas got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
