The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Burgos during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Mullure AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Burgos to maneuver through the defense. When Pere Ahumada fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mullure AFC's protests and gave Pere Ahumada a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mullure AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Pere Ahumada hit a great ball. Benicio Socho's late challenge caught a Mullure AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Socho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Palpaico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Socho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Jimeno Burgos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mullure AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Burgos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Mullure AFC's goalkeeper Ceferino Lizondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Socho. Jimeno Burgos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Fidel Barahona put in a rough tackle. After 23 played minutes Mullure AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Barahona. After recieving a nice pass, Palpaico FC's Próspero Macera tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ceferino Lizondo was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Benicio Socho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benicio Socho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ceferino Lizondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benicio Socho in the 31st minute. Dalmacio Arrechea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Burgos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mullure AFC's Ceferino Lizondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Mullure AFC from getting a goal against them. Mullure AFC's Juan Pedro Maggi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silvestre Echaurren in the 47 minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Socho to make the kick off. Benicio Socho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Lizondo having to interfere. Ceferino Lizondo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Palpaico FC's Benicio Socho. But to his dismay, Benicio Socho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Jimeno Burgos came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Mullure AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Burgos couldn't finish the play. Bruno Ducci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Borubar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Socho in the 67th minute of play forced Mullure AFC's goalkeeper Ceferino Lizondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Orella hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Máximo Puccio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mullure AFC's Eleuterio Abasolo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eleuterio Abasolo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jimeno Burgos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Nino Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Lizondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Mullure AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Socho came free, but Ceferino Lizondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mullure AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
