Miguel Ángel Russo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdomiro Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Patrick Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute of the match Davi Eger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Ángel Russo skillfully saved the ball. Miguel Ángel Russo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Vides's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 26th match minute, Nucleo de Sangue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, Eagles AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Stamatis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Alessandro Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eagles AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davi Eger hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Vides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Ángel Russo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Wellington de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nucleo de Sangue's supporters rose to their feet, but Wellington de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 42ndth minute of the game Dagoberto Vides who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eagles AC's Miguel Ángel Russo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Nucleo de Sangue's goalkeeper Patrick Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdomiro Maranhense. After a defensive mix-up in Nucleo de Sangue's zone, Alessandro Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Carvalho came out of the goal and Alessandro Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Dagoberto Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Eagles AC got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Soeiro. Miguel Ángel Russo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eagles AC's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Russo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valdomiro Maranhense took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Carvalho. Patrick Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dagoberto Vides blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Ángel Russo having to make a save. Nucleo de Sangue were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Eagles AC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Davi Eger took the corner. Dagoberto Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Miguel Ángel Russo made a huge save. Miguel Ángel Russo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wilton Travassos. 80 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Maranhense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Patrick Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patrick Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Claudinho Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Nucleo de Sangue's zone, Toninho Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Carvalho came out of the goal and Toninho Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nucleo de Sangue players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eagles AC.
