He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of José Augusto Sabóia. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlinhos Moreira was the one to do the kick off. Wilton Travassos might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Augusto Sabóia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
