Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valdomiro Zonta got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Maranhense having to interfere. Kléberson Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Berger in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, Alcance Futebol Clube's Pedro Luís Maranhense got control of the ball when Severino Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 minutes, Valdomiro Zonta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sapesal and the Alcance Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sapesal getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Valdomiro Zonta hit a great ball. Aloísio Berger hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Kléberson Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Kléberson Castro came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Alcance Futebol Clube's Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kléberson Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim Alcântara went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sapesal's Kléberson Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Berger in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Severino Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sapesal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Caio Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Delfim Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Kléberson Castro. Sapesal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 48th minute, Valdomiro Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delfim Alcântara to make the kick off. A collision led to Alcance Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Valdo Gaúcho hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Valdomiro Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sapesal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luís Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Santana in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Giuseppe Mattos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kléberson Castro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 60 played minutes Sapesal got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Linares. The supporters of Sapesal booed when Alcance Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sapesal's Severino Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Severino Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute Caio Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Valdomiro Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giuseppe Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giuseppe Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Inácio de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Caio Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alcance Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
