Luckasianos's Vitório Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Alcântara in the 6th minute of play. Oscar Simão charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Simão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giuseppe Mattos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Vitório Félix when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Delfim Alcântara fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Renatinho Paes fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luckasianos's protests and gave Renatinho Paes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alcance Futebol Clube booed when Luckasianos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Gonçalo Vinhas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Maranhense skillfully saved the ball. Vitório Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Mattos in the 24th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Luckasianos got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Paes. 31 minutes into the match, Alcance Futebol Clube's Valdo Gaúcho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Váldson Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitório Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Alcântara in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Pedro Luís Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Váldson Soeiro to make the kick off. Renatinho Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Delfim Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Alcance Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Alcântara couldn't finish the play. If Giuseppe Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Vitório Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giuseppe Mattos struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Vitório Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcance Futebol Clube. The audience was convinced that Giuseppe Mattos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitório Félix was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 87th match minute, Alcance Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Váldson Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alcance Futebol Clube were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
