After 11 minutes, Hílton Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imperium MZC and the Magu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hílton Novaes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Gugu da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Décio Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Décio Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gugu da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imperium MZC's protests and gave Gugu da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Gugu da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléberson Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Emanuel Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imperium MZC the free kick. The supporters of Imperium MZC booed when Magu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hílton Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hílton Novaes made the kick off in the second half. If Hílton Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginaldo Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington França in the 60th minute of play forced Magu SC's goalkeeper Reginaldo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Hílton Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Décio Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Danilo Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Magu SC got a freekick which was hit by Décio Ortiz. Reginaldo Camargo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington França went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Magu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington França came free, but Reginaldo Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléberson Silva took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Paranaense. Danilo Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Novaes in the 94th minute of play forced Magu SC's goalkeeper Reginaldo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
