Edson Damião hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Dedé Cavalcante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osmar Matos skillfully saved the ball. The Porto Seguro F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caboclos AD were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cícero Moura was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Hílton Marquez made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Porto Seguro F.C's Abel Falcão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Hílton Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Caboclos AD booed when Porto Seguro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmar Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porto Seguro F.C. After 84 played minutes Caboclos AD got a freekick which was hit by Edson Damião. Cícero Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Abel Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Porto Seguro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Tinoco. Giovani Massa struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Abel Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caboclos AD. Duda Goiano missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 95 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Abel Falcão right hand side. Hílton Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Caboclos AD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Porto Seguro F.C.
