Betinho de Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betinho de Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Caboclos AD getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Betinho de Godoi hit a great ball. The supporters of Caboclos AD booed when Cojubim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Marquez in the 17th minute of play forced Cojubim FC's goalkeeper Jonas Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Cojubim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Moura came free, but Jonas Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Giovani Massa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonas Meireles to make any attempt to save it. Caboclos AD's Jean do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Cícero Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cojubim FC's Jonas Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Cojubim FC's goalkeeper Jonas Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovani Massa. 2-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Cícero Moura elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovani Massa got free with Jonas Meireles in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hílton Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Meireles having to interfere. Tomé Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafa Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. Betinho de Godoi hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cícero Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Meireles having to interfere. Hílton Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jonas Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovani Massa in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Meireles saved Cojubim FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cojubim FC's Tomé Prado got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Giovani Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Osmar Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Sá went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Osmar Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Tróia in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Caboclos AD booed when Cojubim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, Caboclos AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldinho Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor de Moraes in the 87th minute of play forced Caboclos AD's goalkeeper Osmar Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Cícero Moura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Meireles having to make a save. If Giovani Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caboclos AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
