With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Cido Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Guilherme Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capão Bonito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sol Wiseman might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genílson Messias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sol Wiseman ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Guilherme Carioca notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Genílson Messias. Genílson Messias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Genílson Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Carioca's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Sol Wiseman scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genílson Messias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Capão Bonito fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Capão Bonito's Sol Wiseman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd minute, Guilherme Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genílson Messias made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mathias Pena sent off a good shot on target. Genílson Messias was a little too slow when Guilherme Carioca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-5. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Genílson Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Genílson Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Carioca. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Guilherme Carioca sped through E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genílson Messias. Guilherme Carioca was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Capão Bonito's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Guilherme Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
