Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Mário Lago started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Old Glory's Adilson Esteves got a free kick in the 4th minute. Eliézer Velasco came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Vasco Lima's Alexandre Vides. But to his dismay, Alexandre Vides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Hugo Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Old Glory's Osvaldinho de Andrade slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Crescencio Veleña. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. 17 minutes into the game, Válter Penha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eliézer Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Szymon Dziewulski scored 1-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliézer Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliézer Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Old Glory's Mário Lago got a free kick in the 25th minute. Pedrinho Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Velasco having to interfere. Eliézer Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Vides in the 27th minute of play. Old Glory's Osvaldinho de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, Vasco Lima's Alexandre Vides made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliézer Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Messias in the 40th minute of play forced Old Glory's goalkeeper Eliézer Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliézer Velasco. Old Glory's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

Dudu Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Old Glory's Eliézer Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Penha in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Pedrinho Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliézer Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. After 57 played minutes Vasco Lima got a freekick which was hit by Caio Maciel. Eliézer Velasco made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Hugo Messias sent off a good shot on target. Old Glory's Eliézer Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Penha in the 61st minute of play. Eliézer Velasco came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vasco Lima's Hugo Messias. But to his dismay, Hugo Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Eliézer Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Dziewulski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Old Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Schmidt came free, but Eliézer Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Old Glory's goalkeeper Eliézer Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrinho Pimenta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Schmidt in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliézer Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Válter Penha took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Eliézer Velasco to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Messias in the 82nd minute of play forced Old Glory's goalkeeper Eliézer Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Vasco Lima's Hugo Messias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eliézer Velasco. Eliézer Velasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-10. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Eliézer Velasco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedrinho Pimenta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-12 in the 94th playminute. When the final whistle sounded Vasco Lima left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Old Glory.
