Diego Erroman started the match with the kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 4th minute when Sugar Villavicencio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of A. A. INTERNACIONAL booed when Star One Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Star One Team's Gilberto Madeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sugar Villavicencio in the 10th minute of play. Gilberto Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Severo in the 12th minute of the match. A. A. INTERNACIONAL were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Star One Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xu Qiang Guang took the corner. Gilberto Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Leme in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute David Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Madeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Star One Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Severo came free, but Gilberto Madeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Cássio Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Madeo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Frederico Couto notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Star One Team's Gilberto Madeo. Gilberto Madeo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilberto Madeo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by A. A. INTERNACIONAL's Tomás Leme. But to his dismay, Tomás Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 33 played minutes Star One Team got a freekick which was hit by Téo Santos. Gilberto Madeo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Severo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Frederico Couto notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Star One Team's Gilberto Madeo. Gilberto Madeo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cássio Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half A. A. INTERNACIONAL were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cássio Severo made the kick off in the second half. Sugar Villavicencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Madeo having to interfere. Gilberto Madeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Cássio Severo in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 56th minute Sugar Villavicencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Madeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Barreto was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 59th minute, Rony Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Star One Team's Tomás Sena got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 65 played minutes Star One Team got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Machado. With a little luck, Star One Team's Gilberto Madeo got control of the ball when Tomás Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilberto Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Couto in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Frederico Couto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilberto Madeo. The goal made the score 0-7. After 79 minutes Star One Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xu Qiang Guang who took care of the corner kick. Xove Fombona made a great header on A. A. INTERNACIONAL's corner, it was just that Star One Team's Gilberto Madeo managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 81st minute A. A. INTERNACIONAL were awarded a corner. Xu Qiang Guang went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Leme in the 82nd minute of play forced Star One Team's goalkeeper Gilberto Madeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Téo Santos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Star One Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A. A. INTERNACIONAL:s goal. After some careless play in the Star One Team defense, Cássio Severo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Madeo. The Star One Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Madeo should have stopped the shot. When A. A. INTERNACIONAL's Tomás Leme in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Star One Team's goalie prevented a goal. Tomás Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Madeo having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Gilberto Madeo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A. A. INTERNACIONAL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
