Epifanio Joachim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Honesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Abecia having to interfere. Iker Abecia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas George in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Victor Honesto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Iker Abecia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabricio Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Tabby, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Epifanio Joachim was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Santos de Lucas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Honesto in the 31st minute of play forced Santos de Lucas's goalkeeper Iker Abecia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Gelmiro having to interfere. Sebastian Gabrio charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Gabrio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabricio Gelmiro was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Ciriaco Tabby capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciriaco Tabby really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Victor Honesto struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Iker Abecia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yeruá. When Epifanio Joachim came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Santos de Lucas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Joachim couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Tabby was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Epifanio Joachim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Santos de Lucas's zone, Jonas George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Abecia came out of the goal and Jonas George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ciriaco Tabby sped through Yeruá's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabricio Gelmiro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Goi during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Prudencio Goi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Tabby in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Gelmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabricio Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Iratxo in the 75th minute of play. Santos de Lucas's Iker Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Honesto in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Yeruá's Jonas George sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Abecia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonas George could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Iker Abecia made a huge save. A collision led to Yeruá getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Saul Erramu hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Tabby in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Gelmiro saved Yeruá from getting behind. After some careless play in the Yeruá defense, Ciriaco Tabby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Gelmiro. The Yeruá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Gelmiro should have stopped the shot. Santos de Lucas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
