Ismael Uzuri got in the 21st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Generoso Birjaio handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Petronila AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Tiadoro. 27 minutes into the match, Mi Querido Racing Club's goalkeeper Isaac Tome had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Oihenarte. Isaac Tome didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Oihenarte went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ismael Uzuri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Generoso Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Gonza to make the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Petronila AFC reached it. Remigio Marko kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The Mi Querido Racing Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mi Querido Racing Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
