After a rather tough play, Ranchillos's Alejo Veronica got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Fernan Tanio struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Uriel Maura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Jibaros. Amador Emmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Godofredo Poncio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anastasio Estevon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ranchillos's Uriel Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Emmanuel in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Toribio in the 21st minute of play forced Los Jibaros's goalkeeper Anastasio Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Godofredo Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amador Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Maura was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Amador Emmanuel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amador Emmanuel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Amador Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Maura having to interfere. Uriel Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Gombal in the 36th minute of play. Aristides Gombal scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Maura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Los Jibaros's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Toribio came free, but Anastasio Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Emmanuel in the 45th minute of play forced Ranchillos's goalkeeper Uriel Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amador Emmanuel made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Aristides Gombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Jibaros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Gombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes, Isaias Niguel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranchillos and the Los Jibaros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaias Niguel hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Los Jibaros's Anastasio Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Poncio in the 59th minute of play. Silvio Toribio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anastasio Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ranchillos defense, Amador Emmanuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Maura. The Ranchillos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Maura should have stopped the shot. Joel Caradaro struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Uriel Maura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Jibaros. Joel Caradaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uriel Maura having to make a save. Joel Caradaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Maura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Silvio Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranchillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Estevon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Jibaros fully deserved thier win.
