Bernabe Froila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernabe Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Lluterio in the 18th minute of play. Epifanio Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Katia having to interfere. Changos del Impenetrable's Bernabe Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Lluterio in the 25th minute of play. Aldo Guzman struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Simon Katia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Changos del Impenetrable. Eleuterio Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Froila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes, Amado Cisco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batea FC and the Changos del Impenetrable players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Batea FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Cisco. Eleuterio Lluterio charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Lluterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Changos del Impenetrable booed when Batea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Lluterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Batea FC's zone, Aldo Guzman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Katia came out of the goal and Aldo Guzman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Batea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Guzman came free, but Simon Katia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Jaime Dominguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Katia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Bernabe Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Lluterio in the 53rd minute of play. When Tomás Gaueko fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batea FC's protests and gave Tomás Gaueko a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Checa in the 71st minute of play forced Batea FC's goalkeeper Simon Katia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Epifanio Checa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Katia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Cibran during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Changos del Impenetrable's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
