After 81 minutes, Tomas Etor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Salto players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Venancio Ihazintu managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Salto's Maximino Sanchez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Charro during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atilano Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
