In the 19th minute, Bradley Rusby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Toby Weatherhead had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes, Sacha Nightingale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the London Army United and the Boscastle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sacha Nightingale kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Don McGrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. When Richie Maclean came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the London Army United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richie Maclean couldn't finish the play. Mike Walters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toby Weatherhead in the 38th minute. If Crispin Collingwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Toby Weatherhead fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Walters having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Boscastle's Garry Ball got a free kick in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franz Hilton during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of London Army United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boscastle:s goal. Conan Edmunds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Steele having to interfere. Sacha Nightingale got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to London Army United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sacha Nightingale hit a great ball. If Crispin Collingwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Richie Maclean made a precise shot to the right of Mike Walters. Boscastle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Richie Maclean blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mike Walters having to make a save. In the 80th minute, Crispin Edgson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. London Army United's Damien Steele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save London Army United from getting a goal against them. When Richie Maclean fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored London Army United's protests and gave Richie Maclean a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Richie Maclean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 minutes of play London Army United's Richie Maclean was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Richie Maclean hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Kris Harrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mike Walters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlton Bateson in the 97th minute of the match. Boscastle were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
