Spectators: 8139 (Terracing: 6105, Seating: 1872, VIP seats: 162) Matthew Bridgeman made the kick off and thus started the match. Boscastle's Mike Walters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rio Clifford in the 4th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Don McGrath kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving James Gordon. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Mike Walters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Godsall in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Rusby in the 17th minute of play forced Cressage City's goalkeeper James Gordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Gordon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don McGrath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Cressage City's goal looked a bit too open when Don McGrath came free, but James Gordon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. James Gordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Bridgeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Boscastle's Mike Walters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Godsall in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Crispin Collingwood dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of James Gordon, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Barrie Jobling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mike Walters was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. With his leg James Gordon managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Boscastle's Matthew Bridgeman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 45 minutes into the match, Cressage City's goalkeeper James Gordon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conan Edmunds. After having played for 47 minutes, Barrie Jobling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cressage City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barrie Jobling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bart Godsall to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthew Bridgeman in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg James Gordon saved Cressage City from getting behind. When Bart Godsall came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Cressage City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bart Godsall couldn't finish the play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Matthew Bridgeman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cressage City's James Gordon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barrie Jobling got free with Mike Walters in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bradley Rusby charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bradley Rusby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bradley Rusby hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Crispin Collingwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th match minute, Boscastle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant Higgins to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barrie Jobling got free with Mike Walters in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mike Walters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Godsall in the 81st minute of the match. Don McGrath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Gordon having to interfere. Mike Walters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Godsall in the 87th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Matthew Bridgeman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cressage City's James Gordon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Cressage City's Bart Godsall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mike Walters. Mike Walters yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Boscastle walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
