Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Claudio Argi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Claudio Argi took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleksander Jarek. Aleksander Jarek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 15 minutes, Zachariasz Czech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warsaw Players's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachariasz Czech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Polonia Bytom's Zdzislaw Kopyl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Polonia Bytom from getting a goal against them. Aleksander Jarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Argi in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Warsaw Players defense, Marek Skarpiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksander Jarek. The Warsaw Players fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksander Jarek should have stopped the shot. After 33 played minutes Warsaw Players got a freekick which was hit by Boruc Hatman. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Zachariasz Czech managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warsaw Players's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Czech was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Kopyl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the game, Claudio Argi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aleksander Jarek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrzej Wierzcholek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boruc Hatman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wladyslaw Gollob made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pankracy Warka. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Eneas got free with Aleksander Jarek in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Andrzej Wierzcholek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zdzislaw Kopyl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Hatman in the 63rd minute of play. Marek Mikulski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Erik De nuijter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aleksander Jarek. Erik De nuijter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The supporters of Warsaw Players booed when Polonia Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Przybyciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polonia Bytom made a substitution. Janusz Klawke replaced Szymon Jajecznica. Aleksander Jarek came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Polonia Bytom's Claudio Argi. But to his dismay, Claudio Argi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Aleksander Jarek made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Marek Skarpiak sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute of the match, Bartosz Lerych got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aleksander Jarek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aleksander Jarek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik De nuijter in the 94th minute. After 95 minutes, Bartosz Lerych mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polonia Bytom and the Warsaw Players players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bartosz Lerych hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Polonia Bytom eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
