After some careless play in the Polonia Bytom defense, Ludomir Boruta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zdzislaw Kopyl. The Polonia Bytom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zdzislaw Kopyl should have stopped the shot. Marek Skarpiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Stefan Mios made a huge save. When Dawid Gamza fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fajniaki's protests and gave Dawid Gamza a yellow card for diving instead. Zdzislaw Kopyl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Marosz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomir Marosz took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zdzislaw Kopyl. Zdzislaw Kopyl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dobromir Gamza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. Dawid Gamza hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes Polonia Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Przybyciel. 43 minutes into the match, Ludomir Boruta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zdzislaw Kopyl. Polonia Bytom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludomir Boruta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 47th match minute, Fajniaki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Sedzikowski to maneuver through the defense. Igor Zalipski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stefan Mios. Fajniaki's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludomir Boruta was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Fajniaki's Ludomir Boruta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zdzislaw Kopyl. That made the score 0-4 after 55 minutes of play. Czeslaw Brzakala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Kopyl having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Marek Skarpiak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Mios. Fajniaki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marek Skarpiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Erik De nuijter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Stefan Mios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Polonia Bytom's zone, Czeslaw Brzakala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Kopyl came out of the goal and Czeslaw Brzakala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Dawid Gamza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80thth minute of the game Ludomir Boruta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polonia Bytom's Zdzislaw Kopyl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Leszek Nuszkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fajniaki's supporters rose to their feet, but Leszek Nuszkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Kopyl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leszek Nuszkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Kopyl made a huge save. Fajniaki's Czeslaw Brzakala got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Fajniaki players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
