The supporters of Étoile du Sud booed when Paris Batignolles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dove Sion didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wu Yi got free with Richard Vareille in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augustin Peuch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Vareille having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Paris Batignolles's Hugo Pennequin got a free kick in the 6th minute. Djamel Riviere charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Djamel Riviere the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Djamel Riviere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Étoile du Sud's goal looked a bit too open when Mourad Bouchart came free, but Dennis Jürgensonn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malcom Bussy was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Malcom Bussy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Jürgensonn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfried Leveille, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, Paris Batignolles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustave Greff to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Paris Batignolles's zone, Maxime Fagot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Vareille came out of the goal and Maxime Fagot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 minutes of play, Paris Batignolles's Dove Sion made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Jürgensonn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Wilfried Leveille made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Jürgensonn. Étoile du Sud's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfried Leveille in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Jürgensonn saved Étoile du Sud from getting behind. Richard Vareille took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Montout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Augustin Peuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Paris Batignolles were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfried Leveille to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Étoile du Sud got a freekick which was hit by Marin Houot. Paris Batignolles's Hugo Pennequin got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jonathan Montout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Jürgensonn was a little too slow when Hugo Pennequin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-3. Dennis Jürgensonn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dove Sion in the 73rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dove Sion kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dennis Jürgensonn. That made the score 0-4 in the 84 minute of play. After 94 played minutes Étoile du Sud got a freekick which was hit by Marin Houot. Paris Batignolles's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
