Hannover City's Jack Seyller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Trumpf in the 42nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Orleta Deblin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Hannover City's Toni Hoss got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dietrich Dirks.

The wind increased when Hartfrid Reiner made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Noel Trumpf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. After 70 played minutes Orleta Deblin got a freekick which was hit by Uwe-Jens Dehne. 71 minutes into the match, Henrico Lehmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dietrich Dirks. Orleta Deblin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrico Lehmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Jack Seyller made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Noel Trumpf sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrico Lehmann in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dietrich Dirks prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orleta Deblin's Uwe-Jens Dehne got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Uwe-Jens Dehne off the ground. Uwe-Jens Dehne kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 99thth minute of the game Hartfrid Reiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orleta Deblin's Dietrich Dirks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Orleta Deblin getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Balko Wruck hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
