Jürgen Michel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Kord Hinschberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemens Stalleicher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SG WEST booed when Orleta Deblin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Trumpf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match, Jürgen Michel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Friedemann Koller saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürgen Michel in the 48th minute of play forced SG WEST's goalkeeper Friedemann Koller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Caspar Roder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemens Stalleicher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. If Kord Hinschberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Balko Wruck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orleta Deblin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SG WEST the free kick. Caspar Roder struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Clemens Stalleicher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG WEST. Orleta Deblin were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after SG WEST's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erasmus Jester took the corner. Friedemann Koller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jürgen Michel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Orleta Deblin's goal looked a bit too open when Kord Hinschberger came free, but Clemens Stalleicher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
