Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julius Lamowski took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vielank's Bernd Dambowsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hellmut Karrenbauer in the 8th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibor Rubner during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tobias Guenther was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rudolf Vieth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. Bernd Dambowsky was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marko Krinke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Guenther showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Lamowski in the 36th minute of the match.
