After a rather tough play, Bokstale's Gillis Van den Bossche got a free kick in the 15th minute. Bokstale's Willem-Jan De Weijgaert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Bokstale from getting a goal against them. Willem-Jan De Weijgaert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glen Imbreghts in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Theys in the 39th minute of play forced Bokstale's goalkeeper Willem-Jan De Weijgaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Bokstale's Arthur-Maurits De Raeve made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thys Geraerts was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Boris Musseeuw managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Marx's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Musseeuw was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willem-Jan De Weijgaert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glen Imbreghts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Willem-Jan De Weijgaert made a huge save. Willem-Jan De Weijgaert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Boris Musseeuw showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-2 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Willem-Jan De Weijgaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Musseeuw, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Bokstale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronald Theys was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-3. Boris Musseeuw blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willem-Jan De Weijgaert having to make a save. Jesse Van Adorp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Dynamo Marx's Boris Musseeuw nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willem-Jan De Weijgaert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-3. In the 94th minute, Ronald Theys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dynamo Marx booed when Bokstale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Susters didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Dynamo Marx were the better team. Dynamo Marx's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
