All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save All Stars Gent from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joop Mesmaeckers in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thys Geraerts saved Dynamo Marx from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Christiaan Elsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thys Geraerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eser Şemsi made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Boris Musseeuw sent off a good shot on target. Tommas Verhaghe charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommas Verhaghe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommas Verhaghe hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joop Mesmaeckers in the 18th minute of play forced Dynamo Marx's goalkeeper Thys Geraerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Christiaan Elsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The All Stars Gent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a little luck, All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi got control of the ball when Jesse Van Adorp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eser Şemsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Musseeuw in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to All Stars Gent getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Joop Mesmaeckers hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Ronald Theys rounded All Stars Gent's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Thys Geraerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esterilla Van Meenen in the 34th minute of play. Dynamo Marx's Thys Geraerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didier Beekman in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Dynamo Marx's Boris Musseeuw made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eser Şemsi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Boris Musseeuw took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Eser Şemsi to make any attempt to save it. Christiaan Elsen succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3.

The wind increased when Joop Mesmaeckers made the kick off in the second half. Thys Geraerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Cuelens in the 53rd minute of the match. All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Theys in the 56th minute of play. All Stars Gent's Michael Cuelens got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Dynamo Marx booed when All Stars Gent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joop Mesmaeckers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Joop Mesmaeckers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Dynamo Marx getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ronald Theys hit a great ball. Thys Geraerts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esterilla Van Meenen went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Marx's zone, Christiaan Elsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thys Geraerts came out of the goal and Christiaan Elsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Michael Cuelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thys Geraerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Dynamo Marx's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Cuelens came free, but Thys Geraerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiaan Elsen made a great header on All Stars Gent's corner, it was just that Dynamo Marx's Thys Geraerts managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiaan Elsen got free with Thys Geraerts in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, All Stars Gent's Christiaan Elsen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. 96 minutes into the match, Dynamo Marx's goal looked a bit too open when Esterilla Van Meenen came free, but Thys Geraerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched All Stars Gent eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
