The supporters of ASU Poli Timisoara booed when FC SANATATEA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Pintea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thaddeus Routhier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Nicolae, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. FC SANATATEA's Thaddeus Routhier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC SANATATEA from getting a goal against them. Dorin Bocșa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dorin Bocșa came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by FC SANATATEA's Eliodor Călimanescu. But to his dismay, Eliodor Călimanescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the ASU Poli Timisoara defense, Eliodor Călimanescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorin Bocșa. The ASU Poli Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorin Bocșa should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Ipătescu got free with Thaddeus Routhier in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of FC SANATATEA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ASU Poli Timisoara:s goal. FC SANATATEA made a substitution. Dacian Ghiorman replaced Tudor Ivan. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sever Ipătescu made the kick off in the second half. ASU Poli Timisoara's Sever Ipătescu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thaddeus Routhier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Ipătescu in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ASU Poli Timisoara's zone, Sever Ionășescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorin Bocșa came out of the goal and Sever Ionășescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 played minutes FC SANATATEA got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Şteţ. In the 80th minute of the match Costică Dragomir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorin Bocșa skillfully saved the ball. After 87 played minutes FC SANATATEA got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Druță. 89 minutes into the match, FC SANATATEA's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Ipătescu came free, but Thaddeus Routhier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marius Gherase made in the 96th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sever Ipătescu however managed to control. FC SANATATEA played a much better game than ASU Poli Timisoara and deserved their victory. The ASU Poli Timisoara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
