Vaggelis Siafakas started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, DANAOS AE's Spyros Grifisas got a free kick in the 5th minute. Vaggelis Siafakas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaggelis Siafakas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Eleftherios Pispinis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleftherios Pispinis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vaggelis Siafakas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Iason Kiratzis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eleftherios Pispinis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleftherios Pispinis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iason Kiratzis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Eugenios Barbounis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vaggelis Siafakas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleftherios Pispinis saved DANAOS AE from getting behind. With splendid footwork Vaggelis Siafakas arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 25th minute. In the 38th match minute, DANAOS AE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Venos to maneuver through the defense. When Vaggelis Siafakas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Dhrιmisa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaggelis Siafakas couldn't finish the play. Thodoris Venos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Thodoris Venos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in DANAOS AE's zone, Eugenios Barbounis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleftherios Pispinis came out of the goal and Eugenios Barbounis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to DANAOS AE getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Spyros Grifisas hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Vaggelis Siafakas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dhrιmisa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Siafakas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dhrιmisa's Eugenios Barbounis got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DANAOS AE's Eleftherios Pispinis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iason Kiratzis in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Eugenios Barbounis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleftherios Pispinis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sakis Kostiadis struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Panagiotis Spazokefalos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DANAOS AE. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Vaggelis Siafakas put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eleftherios Pispinis. Eugenios Barbounis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eleftherios Pispinis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DANAOS AE's Eleftherios Pispinis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenios Barbounis in the 93rd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenios Barbounis couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Dhrιmisa were the better team. Dhrιmisa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
