Spectators: 8544 (Terracing: 6409, Seating: 1965, VIP seats: 170) Rubiton F.C's Brett Venz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Brett Venz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cregan Park was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Brett Venz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cregan Park was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Aden Mcinnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubiton F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Aden Mcinnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cregan Park breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 minutes of play, Rubiton F.C's Brett Venz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cregan Park was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brett Venz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Cregan Park when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rubiton F.C were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Uranias's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andrews Raison took the corner. Bryant Pack tried in the game's 24th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Cregan Park. An annoying self made goal, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Uranias's zone, Brett Venz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cregan Park came out of the goal and Brett Venz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubiton F.C's Brett Venz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Brett Venz came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Rubiton F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brett Venz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Uranias booed when Rubiton F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Roach didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Larry Mcgaw to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Uranias got a freekick which was hit by Larry Mcgaw. Jacob Roach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cregan Park having to interfere. Bo Norden charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Norden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Rubiton F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bo Norden. Jacob Roach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cregan Park read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 86 played minutes Rubiton F.C got a freekick which was hit by Andrews Raison. After 87 played minutes, Uranias's Herbert Featon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ryan Limmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uranias reached it. Cregan Park took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Roach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uranias's Cregan Park played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aden Mcinnes in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brett Venz in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cregan Park saved Uranias from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rubiton F.C had won after a very even match.
