The supporters of U21 Latvia booed when U21 Estonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vello Kender didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ragnar Mäekala couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. U21 Latvia had played much better football throughout.
