Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bērtulis Pupurs started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, U21 Latvia's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Gertsyk came free, but Gaidis Vaicahovskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaidis Vaicahovskis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Gertsyk went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. U21 Latvia's Gaidis Vaicahovskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timur Savin in the 9th minute of play. Gaidis Vaicahovskis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Gertsyk in the 10th minute of play. Anton Gertsyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaidis Vaicahovskis having to interfere. After 17 played minutes U21 Latvia got a freekick which was hit by Ēriks Utgofs. Anton Gertsyk scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaidis Vaicahovskis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaidis Vaicahovskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Chayo in the 23rd minute of the match. Polikarp Miheev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Bach, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gaidis Vaicahovskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Chayo in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, FC Barcelona Lassa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Dubiel to maneuver through the defense. Polikarp Miheev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Bach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Barcelona Lassa's Polikarp Miheev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bach in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Bach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Polikarp Miheev was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After some careless play in the U21 Latvia defense, Timur Savin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaidis Vaicahovskis. The U21 Latvia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaidis Vaicahovskis should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anton Gertsyk to strike the kick off in the second half. Maksim Kuzmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timur Savin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaidis Vaicahovskis came out and tried to block the shot, but Timur Savin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona Lassa's goal looked a bit too open when Uvis Ūpis came free, but Polikarp Miheev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Chayo got free with Gaidis Vaicahovskis in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anton Gertsyk in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaidis Vaicahovskis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 74 minutes into the match, U21 Latvia's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Savin came free, but Gaidis Vaicahovskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, U21 Latvia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aļģis Engers to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Aļģis Engers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Polikarp Miheev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Gertsyk got free with Gaidis Vaicahovskis in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Aļģis Engers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The nice shot from Anton Gertsyk in the 88thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Gaidis Vaicahovskis had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Polikarp Miheev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eižens Vecvagars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Gertsyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gaidis Vaicahovskis made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded FC Barcelona Lassa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than U21 Latvia.
