Respecting the minorities

Badge image
I would like to this game reflect the truth, which is that in Romania the 7% of the population is Hungarian (and I am sure lot of other countries have this "problem"). So it would be nice when the new player are generated to use in 7% the Hungarian database of names. (Or even better to every user could choose this percentage. The city where I live the percentage of Hungarian population is 95% so I am tired to get only players with Romanian name.) This is already implemented in similar manager games. Why Managerzone is different? Thank you.

I would Hungarian players in my team. I miss that from this game...
The whole Romanian squad has Hungarian (or Szekely) players in reality.

Just to make clear: players who has Hungarian ethnicity, but plays in Romanian teams. It would be nice to set the ethnicity of the teams. Again where I live percentage of the Hungarians are 95%, but unfortunately Romania was attached to us :(

This guy probably lives in Eastern Romania, Transilvania, where there is a Hungarian minority there, so this is why he is asking for this. He just asks for a possibility for a Romanian MZ player (when he is generated) to have a Hungarian sounding name, like being from the Hungarian Minority of Romania :P

It would be nice but this is really impossible, because names are generated randomly. Every name and surname has the same chance to appear in a player's name. If Crew adds Hungarian names in the Romanian name list for this game, there can be cases where there will be generated names with Hungarian name and Romanian surname and vice versa, which wont be realistic at all.

As kingjaime told you in Football forum, Database is not regional but National.
So.... This cannot happen, just forget about it and play with your Romanian players. After all, you live there, you are still Romanian citizen but you have Hungarian roots and name, like Lazslo Boloni, who has a Hungarian name but played for Romanian national team ;)
Just respect the country you live in and thats all :)

Where are the Romanian citizens with Hungarian name? I am glad to brought it up László Bölöni, because this is the exact thing what I want. I want to see players similar to László Bölöni in this game. The current game is unacceptable (considering the fact that 90% of the real Romanian hockey national squad is Hungarian). What is so hard about using the combination of both databases I don't get it, it is a five minute fix, it is not impossible.

Wow, recently Romania beat Hungary with 1 Romanian player in the squad (1 Ukrainian and the rest was Hungarian) and they sang the Hungarian anthem. The country (the press) instead of being proud of us Szeklers, they talking about cutting funds from Hockey, and other angry articles (sending us out of this country etc...), at least we now are in the focus of attention... So don't speak me about respecting my country...
Only English article I found (written by a Romanian...):
http://www.nineoclock.ro/ice-hockey-ethnic-incidents-at-romania-vs-hungary-game/

So at least we deserve to choose the ethnicity of our players... (and able to play with Hungarian players from Romanian IP address).

A lot of things are missing in the game, please don't expect an adequate change.

There has been an improvement of this issue. You change the name of 3 of your youth players to any of the surname and familyname of any name database.
