Where are all the staff candidates?

Badge image
On the football side, there are lots of coaches to choose from. Why are there none at all on the hockey side? Having no candidates at all makes it kind of hard for a new team to find people to fill staff slots...

Thats very true, a question I would like to ask as well.

If I remember correctly the number of available coaches depends somehow on the number of active users per country.

But do you really have zero coaches? I mean, not even a single coach with crappy skills that you could hire theoretically (even if you don't want him ....)?

That is correct. the list is often completely empty. I find it hard to believe that the US would not have any coaches available. I mean, we're not China when it comes to population, or Canada when it comes to the popularity of Hockey, but still, there should be more than what i keep seeing.

Have you tried to change the staff settings e.g. class A coaches and lower.

Currently, set A coaches and I have two people who want to join my club.

It can be lean here in the US. Quite a few lately though.. My advice to you would be to set it for C class and see what ya get. IMO any coach above that is not worth the salary.
ex. A class coach,8 power and alot of high pucks in all areas for 15K a week.
If your lucky you'll find a B or C class with same power really nothing else for 4K to 7K. Remember a coach can only be used in 1 spot so its really a waste of money if you ask me to have those A coaches. There are exceptions of course as some skills are hard to find here in US.Goalkeeping being one of them.
Also a hint that works well for me in negotioations, I use the bonus request as a gauge of salary demands. ex. if a coach wants a huge bonus then he prob. wants a salary on the higher end of his range and vice versa. Good Luck!
