Isit best to concentrate on speed, stamina and BC u until all are maxed out then go for other skills. Orconcentrate on what the scout recommends or try and give an all round training so train them in different Skills every day.

First of all, I'd recommend using the Scout option.

How I train my youths is - I put them up only for Speed Stamina Camps. When they're not in camps, i train them on field in their respective positions (as indicated by Scout method). This works pretty well for me, since most players train fastest at Speed and stamina (in camps), and hence it's most effective. And players train well at main skills on field too.

Do you always use a coach?

Yeo. Not only do I use coaches, I use the cheapest as well as best of them. Take a look at my coaches. They're all 9 ball coaches, and most of them are 9 in multiple skills. And yet, look at their wages :)

The signing on fee is expensive or not sir?

Forget expensive, 90% of my coaches have not had a 'signing on fee'. Actually, I don't buy coaches with signing on fee, unless he's exceptionally good, and is asking for very less wages :)

Youth training advice

You'll only have time to train up two skills to 8-9, a third if the player trains really fast or starts with a high ball count, but that is rare 1 or 2 per batch of 23 players

To be competitive use coaches and always send them to 5 week TC's.

Focus on training Stamina over Speed
The other skill will be Keeping Shooting, Heading, Tackling, Passing or Aerial Passing - Depending on what play style your like to use and who is playing where

For me I do this
Keeping and stamina for Keepers
Shooting and stamina for strikers
Tackling and stamina for defenders
Passing and stamina for midfielders

A team of players with 4-5 speed, 7-9 stamina and 7-9 in their primary skill will do very well in U/18 competitions

If you can get them to 4-5 in Ball Control as well you'll well and truly dominate

@scruttino, why do you suggest Stamina over Speed?

Because it doesn't matter how fast the players can run if they're exhausted and less mobile than a sloth after 20 minutes :)
