starting cups without any notice for the user

this is completely stupid and hurting my team Champions Cup - Season 63 started and it's a cup that starts without subscription and without any notice! now I already have 2 huge loses on the group because this cup started without any notice and choosing my 1st tactics that is for juvenile games! starting a cup as important as this one without any notice and choosing the tactics without user action is STUPID and has already resulted in DAMAGE as no one will give me the 6 points already lost!this is completely stupid and hurting my team

as everybody knows subscribing to play a cup prompts you to choose your tactics for that cup that is not done on Champions Cup as the game chooses the champions of each country and there is no subscription and the cup even started without any notice and choosed the tactic on my first slot of tactics that is chosen for juvenile games! you may say that I still could have chosen the tactic on the list of games but if you have a lot of games as I have it is very easy to miss choosing the tactic now with 2 losses and having a difference of 30 goals I have to congratulate Managerzone for already eliminated my team!as everybody knows subscribing to play a cup prompts you to choose your tactics for that cup

that is not done on Champions Cup as the game chooses the champions of each country and there is no subscription

and the cup even started without any notice and choosed the tactic on my first slot of tactics that is chosen for juvenile games!

you may say that I still could have chosen the tactic on the list of games but if you have a lot of games as I have it is very easy to miss choosing the tactic

it still sucks that is not enough! I can tell you it's my 2nd time this happens (been portuguese champion twice and on 1st Champions Cup same thing happened) for a user that keeps close attention to MZ as I do it must be an hint that something is not working here...

I'm quite sure changes will be done because I'm right on this Unfortunatelly it may be useless for me as I may not participate on this cup anymore... This cup is not by subscription and people may miss tactic selection as I did Auto selecting the 1st tactic slot as tactic for this cup is quite an amateur system...I'm quite sure changes will be done because I'm right on this

I learned 6 years ago, shortly after I joined MZ, that tactic slot A is always the auto tactic selected for matches by MZ. Therefore, I made sure I always have a viable tactic for my senior team set in Tactic A slot...just in case I happen to miss a day of logging in. I learned to always check the Clubhouse news every time I log in...just to make sure I don't miss any upcoming events. I always check my fixtures every time I log in to make sure proper tactics are set for up coming matches for the following day. If I failed to do any of the above checks, then it's my fault if something goes wrong. You have been in this game a lot longer than I have, yet you are quick to blame the system for your error...the notice of the upcoming matches was announced on Aug. 11th...6 days before the matches started. If you didn't log in for 6 days then it is still your error because you know what tactic will be automatically selected by the system...that is, Tactic Slot A.I learned 6 years ago, shortly after I joined MZ, that tactic slot A is always the auto tactic selected for matches by MZ. this is a system that [b][color=red]misleads[/color][/b] the user! and this is vacation time. I may miss one day or two checking tactics or remembering that cup that and selects my tactic A automatically by not asking me which tactic I want to use as [b][color=red]ALL THE OTHER CUPS DO![/color][/b] you think you have it all covered as MZ devil's advocate ? if I choose tactic A as a senior tactic once friendlies use that tactic by default it may lead my team to use all friendlies with seniors putting them in bad form needing to rest! it's more secure choosing sub18 as tactic A because the possibility of checking too late (and 6 or more friendly games have already been played with seniors) is reduced; I prefer to risk playing all with sub18 and making them tired and having seniors with 0 or 2 friendly games only because I have a lot of cup and friendly league games to cover their form with! when MZ Oscars start remember me to vote on you for Best performance on MZ's defence! you'll win for sure!

I agree with webunited, worth putting in the suggestions part of the forum. Club notifications for competitions that start shortly would be a help as for me, a few have started without warning for me and although I did have a senior A tactic, it was not my preferred one.I agree with webunited, worth putting in the suggestions part of the forum. [b]Webunited[/b] is right as a principle and I agree and suggested this numerous times that [u]senior (O23) official cups should be marked by a different color[/u] in the matches grid, since most of us, dinosaurs, are only interested in those. This would prevent accidents and still help big spenders on games, such as myself or Web here, to actually distinguish the important matches from the rest of them. I honestly don't care at all about the yellow ones but I still have to see that annoying color daily... Petros United Mosta FC F.K. Apatin AND THERE MAY BE MORE... WHEN PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO ASSUME THEIR FAULT THEY TRY TO FOCUS THE PROBLEM ON THE ONLY ONE THAT SPEAKS OUT! Now it's much easier to do that and make it look like a single problem than to realise the huge error MZ has been making hurting the users by not alerting them properly and not having a reliable and safe system to avoid this situations!

I do agree that Crew should implement what civilu has suggested, [color=red]'senior (O23) official cups should be marked by a different color in the matches fixtures[/color]' to make them stand out from the other matches. However, it is a management game which means the manager has to accept some responsibility for his team. I have been involved in a few Elite Cups, and never missed setting a tactic because they were really important to me as well...I also have been heavily involved in the game with many matches daily. Yet, I can't expect other users to spend as much time on the game as I do, and to be as diligent as I am in making sure I don't miss anything.I do agree that Crew should implement what civilu has suggested, 'senior (O23) official cups should be marked by a different color in the matches fixtures' to make them stand out from the other matches.

Yet, I can't expect other users to spend as much time on the game as I do, and to be as diligent as I am in making sure I don't miss anything.

Despite releasing news about the Elite cups (about 10 days ahead) it's understandable that some managers might miss that they are participating. A notification would definitely be a good solution for those who doesn't check their fixture's page on a regular basis and is something we could add. I'll write a note and hopefully it's something we can take a look at before next season's Elite cups, or at least give managers heads up in one way or another. Regards, RobertHello,

I have not missed any tactics for any other cup! I'm satisfied to see that instead some other opinions you understand there is a problem!

As you may have noticed the problem is specific for this cup!

I have not missed any tactics for any other cup!
And it's my 2nd time missing tactics on this cup
On my 1st participation I missed 1 game and that was enough for me to not qualify
Now on my 2nd participation I missed 2 games and have a score of 0-30 at the moment

It's very frustrating missing the opportunity of giving my best on a cup that is such a rare and important event!

Hey, I've had the same issue than Webunited, but on Hockey. This is the second time my Hockey team participates in Top Teams Cup because 3rd team wins National Cup, so 4th (my team) enters in that Cup automatically. I didn't know this (like first time I played there), and I've been playing that cup withoy my knowing... luckily I awared of this in the last round of phase group and I managed to qualify to the playoffs... Definitely we need to highlight these kind of events, no doubts... Best regardsHey,
