Buy now price

[PSCF]

Wouldn't it be good to have a price that owners put on their players (which would be more than the starting price ofc) that other players could pay if they want the player rather than waiting for a player whose deadline date is maybe in two days?Wouldn't it be good to have a price that owners put on their players (which would be more than the starting price ofc) that other players could pay if they want the player rather than waiting for a player whose deadline date is maybe in two days?

Where's the fun in that? I like all the excitement, the anxiety, last minute bid and the lack of sleep that we could get from the auction. It's totally worth it if in the end you managed to get your desired players.Where's the fun in that? the other issue comes in with players having 2 teams or friends who sell them players at discounted prices. all you'd have to do is put an allstar up for a $1 asking price and have the other team set up to buy it instantly. the player would be off the market as soon as the asking price was met and nobody would ever get a shot at buying him.the other issue comes in with players having 2 teams or friends who sell them players at discounted prices. all you'd have to do is put an allstar up for a $1 asking price and have the other team set up to buy it instantly. the player would be off the market as soon as the asking price was met and nobody would ever get a shot at buying him.

thats a very good point and that would be something which could be looked at.

I think that this buy instantly will never work. But I think transfer system needs something new or extra. Right now you can place your players on transfer market with maximum price 3 times players value. But what if we could choose whether our players would be able to recive bids from other managers..lets say 10 times players value...if bid comes in and is accepted than player enters on trasfer market for 3 days with asking price of that sum agreed and bid placed by user whos bid was accepted. That would at least give chance to sign the player for other users too.

what if the player you want still has 3 days on the market and you injuries or a player has retired and you're prepared to pay higher than the asking price even if it comes up to like 600,000 and cant wait 3 days?

Then it won't be fair for other managers to compete in the auction and it won't be as realistic as in the real world. I'm sorry but the theory "first come, first served" is not relevant here.

it is fair if other managers have more money than you than thats the way it is you can't complain that itself is football teams have more money than others.

just removing the 3x value cap might solve the issue. for instance, if you have a 19 year old who get 10 Speed, 10 Stamina and 10 Tackling, his value might only be $500,000 so you could only post him for $1.5 mil. In actual fact, a player like this would fetch way more than that on the open market. possibly upwards of $7 mil these days. i think the point of the 3 day transfer window (and you can choose only 1 day if you want a quick sell) is only to make sure every manager has the chance to have a look-see. if the above mentioned player was only on the transfer market for 6 hrs, the majority of people would never have known about it and it's almost certain that you would not get top dollar for him. in theory, the longer a player stays on the market, the higher his transfer price should be.just removing the 3x value cap might solve the issue.

I would like to see a max bid option, where we could put in a higher bid. This would help those who can't make it on, and also put an end to the awkward overbidding. Like when the bid is at 100k, and someone dumps a 500k bid to hopefully lock up the player if they can't be online for the end of bidding.I would like to see a max bid option, where we could put in a higher bid.

The whole idea of a transfer market is to sell a player at “market” value. It’s all about timing, luck, demand etc. A buy now feature would never work as there’s too much grey area for cheating and it isn’t fair for every manager to not have the opportunity to buy a player.The whole idea of a transfer market is to sell a player at “market” value. What separates the top managers from the rest is commitment. This includes being prepared to set an alarm in the crazy hours if the morning to bid on a player. I’m all for making the game easier and more engaging but I don’t like taking away more and more key features of what makes the best managers the best

I'm not sure now, maybe 7-8 now, i'm talking to some new managers to keep playing. But they're not convinced since they can't be club members or something.
