Anyone using autocad here? need some help

Hi! I'm civil engineering student and need litle bit help. I have tried to google it but haven't found a solution to my problem. I'm using AutoCAD 2016 and was wondering if it is possilbe to somehow "bring out" dimension toolbar? so that linear, alingned, angular etc. would be on spearete toolbar so it would be much faster to complete the job.Hi!

forgot to add: http://postimg.org/image/4gir1wi69/ right now I have to press small triangle next to linear icon and change it. Right now working on project where I have to use angular, aligned, linear etc to make sure I get it 100% correctly.forgot to add: http://postimg.org/image/4gir1wi69/

Our college, whilst have updated to 2016, we're not using it just yet as our lessons have been based around the 2015 version. If I recall correctly (I'll have to check on Tuesday) you just right clicked on the component and clicked dimensions, but I could be wrong.
