Player's regressing attributes

So I read that there will be changes in player skill regression. Which will start at age 28-30. Isn't that a bit to early? In real life 28-30 is the prime of a player. The majority decline after 30 yrs old. With the exception of few who decline earlier or latter than 32.So I read that there will be changes in player skill regression. Which will start at age 28-30. I have a feeling that is one of the reasons Crew postpone the implementation of deteriorations/regressions.
