Minimising graduating wages while identifying player potential

In football high speed and stamina minimally affect a players overall value thus reducing their starting salary to the lowest amount possible while also determining if they have future potential as seniors.

What are the hockey skill equivalents that would do the same thing?

I have read up on what skills each type of player needs so that doesn't need to be covered, but does training power which determines a players initial potential also overly influence a players value and thus starting wage as well?

First of all, any gained ball increases the player value.
The skill of the highest value is Goalkeeping.
For field players control, shooting and tackling/checking.

But I don't really understand your question.
Why is it that you need low speed-stamina players?
If you grow players low on speed/stamina for low salaries, and then find out that they are prematurely maxed, you will find out that you invested salaries in modest players.
So, you actually lose a lot of money in the process.

Anyway - my answer is this. the main skills are:

Football: speed - stamina - control - P.I. - pass/cross + Takling/Shooting/Keeping

Hockey: power - stamina - quickness - skating - P.I. + Checkning/Shooting/Keeping (except the case of power Keeping, instead they need passing)

I'm saying that a player having high speed and stamina (ie. 9-10) in each of those skills doesn't greatly affect their overall value as much as say passing or ball control would, while at the same time identifying their future talent.

For instance in football you train everyone in speed and stamina first discarding low maxing players, while keeping a players overall value low so that when they graduate as youths they have the lowest possible starting wage for a player that has senior potential

But it's okay, also yes a player gaining a ball will increase their value, but some skills increase a players value a lot more than others do for the same number of balls gained. That is the question I'm seeking an answer to

This is one of my best football players. His market value was arround 700k, until his 8th ball on Play Intelligence. Since he got it, he's arround 1 million.
So, he was a 10 speed player with the market value of 700k.

Let me put it other way - speed doesn't affect greatly the market value,
I answered you already.

So, the player market value actually increased with every ball he gained.
It's not like a ball on P.I. was worth +300k.
