1 Free name change for new managers

As the title suggests; A good friend of mine just started playing and needs to 22000 euro for a name change..that is a lot of money for a newly beginning manager, while I think that giving your team an identity is crucial for new players to stick around; I mean why would anyone have an emotional connection to a name like FC Reeuwijk, whereas you could be the manager of 'the naughty sailors', or something like that ;). So please consider giving new managers a single free name change when they start up their career as MZ manager.As the title suggests;

(1) It's an old suggestion. (Not that a reminder to Crew isn't worthwhile. Sometimes.) (2) I've got a vague idea that a new user completes some or all of the tutorial, it includes a free name change. kingjaime....I think you may be right on 2. I have heard from another manager that it used to be free. The only response I have got in the admin forum is from a MA who claims it would be unfair to the users who had to pay for their name change. How petty.kingjaime....I think you may be right on 2. still could be something that doesnt require the tedium of the tutorial. Not a big thing, and something to help keep even the laziest managers around. I think this deserves a bump... After helping a few new users, all wanted to change team name but 35k AUD is too much for a new team to fork out. If users weren't as patient as them, they'd spend the cash and have less money to do interesting stuff and end up leaving.I think this deserves a bump...

So it's not included if they complete the tutorial...? Then I concur, it's the most basic level of attachment to get someone that bit more inclined to stick with it, so the first change should certainly be free.So it's not included if they complete the tutorial...? I think with every new venture, to be plighted to make them stick around, the first 3-4 weeks is crucial for getting new managers to stick, I mean they might well sign up and create a team and all that, but its getting them to stay, something as simple as name change gives them that sentimental attachment and I agree, chuck in that stadium name change too. okay so we paid to get our name changed 5/6 years ago, if you have been playing Mz for long enough, that 15000GBP you pay is pretty insignificant, whereas for a new manager starting at D6 every penny countsI think with every new venture, to be plighted to make them stick around, the first 3-4 weeks is crucial for getting new managers to stick, I mean they might well sign up and create a team and all that, but its getting them to stay, something as simple as name change gives them that sentimental attachment and I agree, chuck in that stadium name change too.

okay so we paid to get our name changed 5/6 years ago, if you have been playing Mz for long enough, that 15000GBP you pay is pretty insignificant, whereas for a new manager starting at D6 every penny counts

Well if that is the case, than I will complain about the Tutorial Rewards who did not exist when I signed up. I think that giving newbies a few CM features as a welcome reward is not a bad idea... One name change, training graph of 1 player, an extra tactic slot, a free official cup apart the Welcome Cup. If some of these things are given to the newbies, I think they are going to like the game more and maybe not leave immediately

Brought the suggestion back alive in the admin forum: Revive this post with renewed interest in the English Suggestions forum. Mostly, they claim foul on MZ for sticking a new user with name forced on by MZ and not at the choice of the new member...then charge them team money to change it. Something seems amissed here. When you start up, you have to go through a tutorial and by completing this you get money. Simply add a step and give the manager the money needed to change club name and stadium name. If the manager chooses not to then that's their choice. But most will want to change. As i said in last post... pay each club a 'bonus' to cover the cost of 1 name change for club and stadium... EASY!!!

A couple more suggestions would be if not making it a free option to change names then just lower the asking fee,when i started and read the forum for tips it became clear i had to upgrade my stadium to bring in much needed revenue and set up a youth camp.So i have to decide between making money and staying alive or making my team more personal. Or during the tutorial make a section for personalizing the team and instead of giving you money give a list of options ie change team name,change stadium name,rename a player. Its not an assumption, its a fact! As you're new yourself you wouldn't know who I am. I originally started this game in 2003 with another username and played for over 8 years. Took a break (as a lot of people seem to do) and came back but I wanted a complete fresh start so I have a new user. BUT that date is just the date somebody took over a team. Not technically the day they signed up. Their original team could have gone bankrupt and they took over another team. So basically, your "assumption" that I'm new was incorrect...

This is actually incorrect. It became free if you took the frighteningly long winded tutorial to start the game, it gave you the option of free Club and Stadium name changes back then.
