Stuff you put in your vehicle's engine, gearbox, whatever to improve performance. Redex, Nulon, Wynns, that sort of thing.
Anyone any idea whether it's okay to post this from one European country to another?
I'm not finding it explicitly on any courier's "Prohibited" list but I see parcel2go, who I'd like to use to select cheaper Parcelforce or UPS deals, have "liquid" on their prohibited list. It's sold online, including by Amazon, so I'm presuming it is okay...
It's all new/sealed in plastic bottles.

Ah, now I would, or probably more simply I'd just phone and ask courier companies, but ideally I want to go ahead and book a courier over the weekend (online), so I'm trying to save waiting until Monday morning... (The couple I've tried don't seem to have people answering phones over the weekend).

Mobil 1
Petronas
Valvoline
Castrol
Mission accomplished.
As to your mailing predicament, may i suggest if you cannot send the liquid, you post a length of tubing, sneakily keeping hold of one end of it before you mail it. Then when it arrives at its destination, you can simply pour the liquid down the tube to your friend (assuming your not actually packing it with cocaine) or family member. Also as an added bonus at later dates you can share a beverage with the same person for birthday and holiday celebrations without having to leave your house. :)

Ah, now there is an idea... and I can't find it explicitly listed as "prohibited" to get them to deliver one end of a length of tubing. Hmmm.
Actually, while I doubt anyone else is interested, I'm basically finding that "liquid" is blanket prohibited, at least by brokers. So I can either pay the disgusting direct prices (£20 through broker becomes £60+ direct) or... well UPS don't mentioned liquids as prohibited so I guess I'll just have to wait until Monday morning and confirm with them by phone, then use Transglobal Express.
If anyone in the UK wants some Nulon products, feel free to drop me a line. In Europe you can have G70, but it's doubtful much else. Since everything else is liquid.
What an excellent thread :)

Are you looking to supply oil by mail?
Well if Amazon mail it, use them. Have them as a supplier/middle man, or find a similar e-store 'locally' who already stock and send oil/liquid products.

That a good idea... I've had a look through Amazon though and seems as a normal seller (maybe different for pro), I can't list in Automotive or Car & Parts or anything close. I also checked out their "Fulfilled by Amazon" terms, because that might've been a handy way through, but they restrict "liquid" sales to single unit and no more than 1L. Ho hum.
I'm not looking at doing it long-term, just clearing out remnants of a stockpile for a friend.
Nulon Stop Smoke Engine Treatment
Nulon G65 Power Steering Treatment
Nulon G70 Manual Gearbox Treatment
Like £3.50 each plus minimal postage charge. Are we allowed to do this here? I don't know. Drop me a message if anyone in the UK wants any. Probably Europe too if it's just 1 or 2.
I'm going to check with a couple of couriers who don't explicitly list "liquid" as unacceptable, tomorrow morning. I'll be sure to come back and let everyone know how I get on, don't worry :)

speak to somebody from Halfords about the legality issue of overseas transportation , the stuff on sale at Amazon may only be mainland distribution, you need to have concrete evidence that somebody is distributing it overseas, sounds a bit dodgy to me, you could by trying to bark up a tree that is the incorrect tree to be barking up.

I can imagine letting the last lot go at a boot sale, good idea.
I was in my local post office today sending other stuff, and asked them. They have some deal with Parcel Force and will send to Belgium for about £42. Not as good as £19.20 was looking, but not the end of the world.
It's fair to say I'm happy about it, and who can argue with a happy ending to this dramatic saga? :)

im worried it may be the end of the world, when your psuedo intellectual Bolshevikian chums in Brussels receive the accellerant that you seem intent on illegally exporting, think yourself lucky that i do not out this plot even further, and think yourself even luckier that i do not make a cyber citizens arrest and hand you over to the authorities for extradition, watch this space..

Parcel Force say they would be prepared to handle the carriage of my extradition for £85.99 plus VAT. It's probably less via broker of course. If you started a whip-round for contribution to such cause, I wonder if you'd make it? I didn't think to ask whether they'd accept payment in Power Tokens...

mmmm , well im just wondering whether the ( other stuff ) was intercepted, or your plot to make the insignificant stand in front of the tantamount, whilst the tantamount slips through behind the diversaries of the insignificant, i have always looked at you sideways , through squinted eyes, and i have always been suspicious of the Belgians, suddenly things are beginning to add up..
