Coach Salary Change

Anyone had issues where you make an offer to a coach and then the asking range changes? I was trying to renegotiate one of my coaches and made an offer, but after sending the bottom range increase by 3K and so does my offer. Now if I to keep the coach I need to pay 3K more.Anyone had issues where you make an offer to a coach and then the asking range changes?
