Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Feliu Cosmen kicked off to start the match. When Feliu Cosmen came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the U21 Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliu Cosmen couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, U21 Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Jackson Orihuela came free, but Waldo Klein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Feliu Ucles to score against Waldo Klein in U21 Germany's goal. 0-1 after 6 minutes. The U21 Peru fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when U21 Peru's Aldo Lewandowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, U21 Germany's Matthias Kolter got a free kick in the 12th minute. Waldo Klein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliu Cosmen's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, U21 Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Jackson Orihuela came free, but Waldo Klein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramond Quiroga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sakis Wiesenberg in the 33rd minute. Raoul Gerhardt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramond Quiroga having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raoul Gerhardt in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramond Quiroga saved U21 Peru from getting behind. Sakis Wiesenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldo Klein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliu Cosmen in the 42nd minute of play. Sakis Wiesenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ramond Quiroga made a huge save. After a rather tough play, U21 Peru's Vidal Herrera got a free kick in the 47th minute. U21 Germany's Erich Beer was substituted for Rocky Rädle. After a rather tough play, U21 Peru's Vidal Herrera got a free kick in the 48th minute. 49 minutes into the match, U21 Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Wiesenberg came free, but Ramond Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The U21 Germany players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U21 Peru were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raoul Gerhardt to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramond Quiroga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Nadolski's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Ramond Quiroga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Nadolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Bartolo Nadolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raoul Gerhardt in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramond Quiroga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Peru's Ramond Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Nadolski in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Lewandowski in the 70th minute of play forced U21 Germany's goalkeeper Waldo Klein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramond Quiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakis Wiesenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, U21 Peru's Jackson Orihuela got a free kick in the 72nd minute. U21 Germany made a substitution. Detlef Heer replaced Sakis Wiesenberg. U21 Peru's Justin Vigil was substituted for Feliu Cosmen. U21 Peru made a substitution. Rami Bazo replaced Melchazadec Come. A collision led to U21 Peru getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jackson Orihuela hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Aldo Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldo Klein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Germany's Waldo Klein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save U21 Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Raoul Gerhardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Vigil in the 88th minute of play forced U21 Germany's goalkeeper Waldo Klein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldo Klein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Orihuela in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Peru's zone, Raoul Gerhardt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramond Quiroga came out of the goal and Raoul Gerhardt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
