After 21 played minutes U21 Kuwait got a freekick which was hit by Abdullah Al Mothaf. In the 22nd minute, Edi Cavani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BARRILETE COSMICO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 25thth minute of the game Edi Cavani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Kuwait's Baqer Al Khobaize was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauro Laspada made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U21 Kuwait's Mnawer Al Sohali. Baqer Al Khobaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Dubardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baqer Al Khobaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Dubardo in the 34th minute of the match. Baqer Al Khobaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Jusepe in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Stevie Lécuyer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baqer Al Khobaize was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 47 minutes into the match, Luciano Jusepe notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of U21 Kuwait's Baqer Al Khobaize. Baqer Al Khobaize was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Laspada in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baqer Al Khobaize prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baqer Al Khobaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edi Cavani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
