Gláuber Fernandez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Anton Kauffman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 17th minute Merle Scott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caleb Gallagher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Cole Stevens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Port Vale FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SHEBA FC the free kick. Cole Stevens hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Port Vale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gláuber Fernandez came free, but Anton Kauffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gláuber Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Kauffman having to interfere. Cole Stevens kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Gláuber Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Anton Kauffman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SHEBA FC. If Felipe Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradly Guinn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Kauffman having to interfere. After some careless play in the SHEBA FC defense, Casey Dill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caleb Gallagher. The SHEBA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caleb Gallagher should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enoch Akins during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gláuber Fernandez in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Kauffman saved Port Vale FC from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gláuber Fernandez made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Merle Scott could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Caleb Gallagher however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Fernandez in the 56th minute of play forced Port Vale FC's goalkeeper Anton Kauffman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Gláuber Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHEBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gláuber Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Kauffman having to interfere. Anton Kauffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Fernandez in the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Felipe Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Kauffman having to interfere. SHEBA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Casey Dill scored to the left of an out of position Caleb Gallagher, making the score, 1-2. If Casey Dill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Port Vale FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cory Bernard to maneuver through the defense. Casey Dill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Caleb Gallagher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Kelly Person mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SHEBA FC and the Port Vale FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SHEBA FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Port Vale FC. Leland Ambrose stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Caleb Gallagher. 1-3. Felipe Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
