With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Kauffman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chase Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Dill in the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BUITRES II's zone, Merle Scott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chase Palacios came out of the goal and Merle Scott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casey Dill made a kick off. Dan Pike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Kauffman having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Merle Scott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Chase Palacios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merle Scott's late challenge caught a BUITRES II's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merle Scott helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Port Vale FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Merle Scott hit a great ball. In the 70th match minute, Port Vale FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Moses to maneuver through the defense. Chase Palacios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enoch Akins in the 72nd minute of play. The Port Vale FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Port Vale FC's Enoch Akins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
