Seating: 2370, VIP seats: 206) Mark-André Kirchberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Mark-André Kirchberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berting Nakpawan was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 7 minutes into the game, Mark-André Kirchberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Berting Nakpawan. Mark-André Kirchberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Boris Räth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, U21 Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Abusayyaff Castro came free, but Rudolf Schulte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Austria's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Steve Bagadiong was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Philippines's players had a chance to rest. U21 Philippines's Steve Bagadiong was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rudolf Schulte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. U21 Philippines's Berting Nakpawan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüdiger Seiler in the 27th minute of play. Berting Nakpawan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark-André Kirchberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Austria's goalkeeper Rudolf Schulte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boris Räth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berting Nakpawan having to interfere. If Vincent Barzik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Charlie Sarigumba made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Räth during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. U21 Austria's Rüdiger Seiler got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. U21 Austria made a substitution. Philipp Schoppitsch replaced Mark-André Kirchberg. U21 Austria's Markus Franken was substituted for Rüdiger Seiler. 65 minutes into the match, Philipp Schoppitsch notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of U21 Philippines's Berting Nakpawan. Berting Nakpawan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hortencia Sabangan charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hortencia Sabangan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hortencia Sabangan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. U21 Austria made a substitution. Bernhard Doetsch replaced Vincent Barzik. The supporters of U21 Austria booed when U21 Philippines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortencia Sabangan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When U21 Austria's Philipp Schoppitsch in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Philippines's goalie prevented a goal. Tony Juniel kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Calvin Nogoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Philippines's supporters rose to their feet, but Calvin Nogoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Schulte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 minutes of play, U21 Austria's Philipp Schoppitsch made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berting Nakpawan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Berting Nakpawan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Schoppitsch in the 84th minute of the match. If Calvin Nogoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U21 Austria's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
